Synopsis
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a 2025 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Fantastic Four.
Produced by Marvel Studios, it is the 37th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four film series.

The movie is set in a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic version of Earth, where the Fantastic Four — Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm — are already established as superheroes.
Rather than retelling their origin in full, the story opens with the Fantastic Four being celebrated for their heroic deeds and major scientific advances. Sue and Reed announce they’re expecting a child, setting up personal stakes.
The peace is suddenly threatened when the herald Silver Surfer (Shalla-Bal) arrives and warns that Galactus, a cosmic entity that devours planets, is coming for Earth. s the family faces this existential threat, they must balance their roles as protectors of the planet with their roles as a growing family. The emotional core revolves especially around Reed and Sue confronting whether they’ll have to sacrifice their unborn child as part of Galactus’s demands.
In the climactic battle, the Fantastic Four devise a desperate plan involving a teleportation “bridge” that could shift Earth’s position or trap Galactus. The conflict forces heavy sacrifices. Spoiler alert: Sue gives her life in an attempt to save her child and the planet, but her baby, Franklin Richards, demonstrates surprising cosmic-scale power
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and is rated PG13 for action/violence and some language.
