Don’t miss the debut--The Gray, a short film, which will premiere at the Windsor Theatre on Thursday, October 30.

Doors open at 6:30 PM with the cast, crew, and guests walking the ceremonial red carpet. The movie will premiere at 7:00 PM, followed by a Q&A session with cast and crew from 7:45 to 8:15 PM.

The Gray follows six cousins who, while camping in the woods near their grandmother’s farm, encounter a mysterious creature that appears between sunset and darkness.

Written, directed, and produced by Les Nelson of Marketplace Media, the suspenseful film blends mystery, wonder, and heart.

Filmed in Leland, Iowa on July 25–27 and August 1–2, the film stars Julie Keely of Leland as Grandma Mary and Beverly Hofer of Geneva as Samantha.  The cast also includes Andy, Jayna, Harvey, Everett and Oliver Hofer of Geneva; Nathan, Macaean and Keston Pralle of Sheffield; Wendy Buseman, Bella Duran, Reed Masters, Liberty Varrelman and Jim Davies of Hampton; and Josh Masson of Mason City.

The Franklin County Arts Council helped support production costs.
